This week I was approached by Crystal (director), a Fashion Film major, who wanted to work with me on a short fashion film. The main idea was to do a story about Baoyu, Daiyu and Baocai from the four great Chinese novels, Dream of the Red Chamber.
We had a few meetings online and offline, mainly to discuss the storyline and the storyboard.
Here is the storyline.
Dream of the void is a VFX short film about the surrealistic romance of Baoyu and Daiyu who are classic characters from the four great Chinese novels The Dream of the Red Mansions.
